im a student for marine biology+ aspiring scientific illustrator. i mainly made this site with my art in mind but theres plenty more here to look at!! some secrets...
years ago i got my hands on a bunch of fetish/porno mags from about 1984-2000 that have all these ads in them for dominatrix hotlines and theyve been a huge inspiration with the way theyre all shaded and composed + how they used the limited color palette(you will notice that i mostly work only in black and white). a lot of my work incorporates elements relating to leather/latex/general BDSM whether it be through the story itself or their designs.
i also love old cartoons, and schoolhouse rock is something that i know for sure has had a big influence on the way i design my characters. medieval illumination and medieval jewish art also often influence my work, especially with my bard character's story(i have very little art of them here whoops). the work of louis wain, q hayashida, and tove jansson also often inspire me.
for my digital art i use krita, procreate pocket or flipaclip if im animating anything(probably masochism), merlanderings are usually done with mspaint/jspaint, and any "animations" with the boiler frames i may do are either made by hand or with the program shakeart deluxe.
